  • Let’s join the Ceilidh ! - January 2009

    Let’s join the Ceilidh !
The party took place in the school. We were all well dressed.
The Scottish taught us to dance. It was typical Scottish dancing.
They showed us how to dance and after we all danced together. Some of them sang beautiful songs.
One Scottish boy played the bagpipes. There was an orchestra. Most of them wore typical Scottish clothes : the kilt.
It was very interesting to see their culture and their typical (...)

Once upon a time, fourteen sweet students couldn’t wait for the departure on the coach from Saint Valery en caux at 9 a.m, except one student, Benjamin who had missed the bus which was to lead him on the way to happiness... A Whisky Distillery.
When we were in Scotland we visited a whisky distillery .
We had a guide who told us how they made whisky. There were lots of machines and it was very impressive !
I think it was difficult to understand what the woman was saying. Then, when we arrived at the distillery, the smell was very strong because the whisky began to appear.
The guide invited us to smell the whisky in the vat ( cuve ).It was so strong that we nearly suffocated. After the visit we (...)

  • Welcome to the Legend of Nessie ! - January 2009

Welcome to THE LEGEND OF NESSIE !
SCOTLAND is very famous thanks to THE LEGEND OF NESSIE : Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster !
I’ve studied two documents [Loch Ness,Monster mystery tour ; Strange encounters] and an extract from the film " Loch Ness".
I’ve understood that the legend of Nessie is part of the story of Saint Columba. Nessie is said to live in the water around Urquhart castle. My class has visited this castle.
Some people claim that they have seen a serpent in the water[in an (...)

  • Un voyage riche en émotions ! - Janvier 2009
